Rank of Kansas State Color Guard

Field officers will be identified with a red dot in the center of their cockade. Captains will have a white dot and subordinates or lieutenants a green dot. The dot will be no larger than the center of a paper enforcer ring.

Non-commissioned officers will be identified with a two inch cloth over their right shoulder boards. Sergeants will have a red cloth and corporals will have a green cloth.

All chapters will have a captain, lieutenant, sergeant and corporal depending on membership. Seniority based on time in color guard with their Kansas number as a tie breaker.

Soldier of the Year

Colonial Soldier of the Year Award - This special plaque was designed in 1992 and was first presented in March 1993 to the KSSSAR member who had earned the most points in wearing his colonial uniform.
